Mercer & Hole’s Rickmansworth team took part in a Memory Walk in aid of the Alzheimer’s Society in Watford on 15 September.
The team of 17 walked nine kilometres around the beautiful grounds of Cassiobury Park in Watford. Collectively the team raised £400 for the Alzheimer’s Society, who are Mercer & Hole’s charity of the year. Supporting each of Mercer and Hole’s four offices with their fundraising efforts are the Mercer & Hole Charity Champions. The role of Charity Champions is to help raise awareness and inspire others to believe they can make a difference to supporting local lives.
Mercer & Hole Partner, Sandy Bell, who took part in the walk, said “I am sure we all know people whose lives have been affected by Alzheimer’s and, therefore, we were delighted to have so many of our Rickmansworth team participate in the Memory Walk. We also had great support from friends and family, not to forget Otis the dog! The walk was a great way to start the weekend and raise money for the cause. Particular thanks to our Charity Champion, Jade Smith, for getting us organised.”
To date the Mercer & Hole team have raised £2,592.00 for the Alzheimer’s Society. To further support the charity with a donation please click here.
