Six team members from Mercer & Hole (Frankie Martin, Tracy Powell, Christine Coppard, George Budge, Ross Lane and Jo Foster) participated in the Race for Life, St Albans over the weekend, raising £2,500 for Cancer Research. This is a particularly important race for our team members to be a part of because of their own personal experiences.
Jo Foster, HR Director said “It was an incredibly emotional day, filled with stories of loss and resilience. Some of us are still undergoing treatment, highlighting how cancer forces you into a beyond-boundaries situation. The event began with an aerobic warm-up led by a courageous lady who is battling cancer throughout her spine. Her strength and positivity were inspiring. Personally, I felt fortunate but deeply reflective, shedding many tears as I thought about the journey and the loved ones we’ve lost.’
