We offer impartial expert witness services, providing professional opinion relating to evidence or facts.
Expert evidence can be a valuable component of dispute resolution in advising a party and their legal team about technical issues, through technical analysis and opinion, as well as in assisting the court to understand the technical issues – thereby helping a sound and just decision to be reached.
Our approach to expert witness work echoes the values we apply to everything we do. We are thorough in getting to know those instructing us and the scope of the case, whilst recognising and maintaining the independence required of an expert in court proceedings. As experienced, practicing professionals in their fields, our expert witnesses are skilled in presenting their opinions in writing and in court.
Our areas of expertise are:
We offer the opportunity of a free meeting to discuss the case and the suitability of one of our team to act as an expert witness. We are thorough in getting to know you and your case, so we can agree on a clear approach in which your expectations are aligned with ours. This may involve us reviewing papers and producing commentary on our approach and how we expect to formulate the opinions we are to give in evidence. With an agreed course of action in place, we will produce a full report, compliant with any relevant procedure rules, which will substantiate and deliver clear expert opinions.
We can offer you our expertise on a time basis, with hourly or day-based fees communicated at the outset. We can also be chargeable on an agreed flat rate basis if that is your preference.
