Our London Christmas Reception 2019

It was the Mercer & Hole London Christmas Reception on Monday 4 December at the Institution of Engineering and Technology in central London.

Managing Partner, Paul Maberly welcomed guests to the iconic venue, with floor to ceiling night views of the River Thames. Paul’s speech reflected on time and he referred to the approach of the millennium twenty years ago and, at that time, how the firm was finalising a deal to bring a Private Client team to Mercer & Hole.  This resulted in us opening our London office and, significantly,  brought Gill Tallon, our Deputy Managing Partner, to the firm. Paul also looked back at some of the firm’s high points of 2019, including our success in several awards. He introduced our two new partners, Jo Upshall and Henry Lowe, who were promoted from within the firm at the start of October and he finished by wishing everyone there a merry Christmas.

Friends of the firm, old and new, enjoyed our hospitality in the wonderful setting, bringing about a great start to the Christmas season.
