Nick Harrison is a Senior Audit and Accounts Manager based in the Milton Keynes office. He works with a diverse range of clients from multi-million-pound groups to start-ups and individuals across different sectors including property, construction, retail, manufacturing, technology and consultancy.
Nick’s particular expertise lies in commercial awareness and business strategy where he has been instrumental in implementing software to streamline business processes. He relishes solving problems for his clients and adding value to their business whilst relieving them of their compliance burden. He spends time really getting to know his clients to become a trusted advisor so that he can help them achieve their ambitions through providing the right solutions from his understanding of their businesses and the particular challenges presented.
Nick joined Mercer & Hole as a Senior Audit and Accounts Manager in May 2022 having previously worked at Gilberts Chartered Accountants and Business Advisors for over 14 years. The main challenge he finds in his role is in keeping up with the pace of developments both in accountancy and within his clients’ industries but he believes this is what keeps him passionate about the work he does.
Outside of work, Nick loves spending time with his partner and children. He is a music lover and enjoys watching live bands and is also learning to play the drums. He is also keen on fitness and enjoys participating in charity runs including a half-marathon and is an avid Formula 1 and football fan.
