Marcus is a Tax Manager in the Private Client team working out of Mercer & Hole’s London office. He works primarily with high-net worth individuals and their families, both resident in the UK and overseas which also extends to people coming to the UK and leaving the UK and related advice concerning their position with regards to taxation. In addition to undertaking advisory work with new prospect clients, he also oversees the compliance work of junior members of the team.
Marcus joined Mercer & Hole in November 2023 having graduated in Accounting and Taxation in 2017 and gaining his ATT and CTA qualifications in 2019 and 2021, respectively. With over six years’ experience in tax compliance and advisory, he enjoys working and engaging with his clients throughout the whole process whilst providing them with constant feedback to allay their worries and keeping up to date with constantly changing legislation. Marcus also recognises the need to work dynamically with clients, identifying planning areas they might not have been aware of and finding new opportunities based on their evolving circumstances.
Marcus is a massive rugby fan and is a Harlequins season ticket holder so spends a lot of his spare time going to watch them play. He also loves running, cycling and weightlifting.
