Joe manages audits for large and medium-sized organisations across retail, leisure and manufacturing sectors. Based at Mercer & Hole’s St Albans’ office, he oversees the entire audit process working closely with stakeholders to coordinate the smooth completion of audits. Although the main focus of his work is audit, he also undertakes some advisory work for clients.
Joe particularly enjoys the variety and breadth of his work as this means that no two days are the same and he has the privilege of working alongside a huge range of client staff across all areas of the businesses they represent. He also relishes the challenge of overcoming problems that arise for his clients, working closely with them to find timely solutions.
Joe was promoted to the position of Audit Manager in April 2024. He qualified in September 2023 having trained at Mercer & Hole. Now, as a qualified manager, he enjoys helping to develop the junior members of his team, passing on the knowledge and skills he has learnt. He is also currently working towards the ICAEW data analytics qualification alongside his day job, exemplifying the training opportunities available at the firm which will also mean his clients will benefit from his increased knowledge and expertise.
Outside of work, Joe enjoys sport and is a keen runner and cyclist and he is also learning Italian.
