Based in Mercer & Hole’s London office, Helen manages a wide portfolio of clients and assists with ongoing reporting requirements including self-assessment tax returns and CGT returns whilst keeping on top of the changes in legislation. She also provides a range of advisory work for her clients including help with inheritance tax planning, UK tax residency and pre-arrival and pre-departure tax planning.
Helen relishes working with such a diverse range of clients including high net worth individuals, non-UK tax residents and non-UK domiciled individuals. She loves getting to the core of their individual circumstances and personal goals so that she can provide bespoke and relevant advice including breaking down complex legislation into more manageable building blocks. Helen embodies Mercer & Hole’s open-door policy and enjoys brainstorming with her colleagues to ensure she gives her clients the best possible service.
A true Mercer & Hole success story, Helen began her career with the firm in July 2018 as a graduate trainee becoming ATT/CTA qualified in July 2021. She has risen through the ranks and was promoted to Tax Manager in October 2023. As a successful beneficiary of the graduate trainee program, she now works closely with the new tax trainees as Trainee Manager as she is passionate about the development of Mercer & Hole’s new raft of trainees with whom she enjoys sharing her knowledge and experience.
In her spare time, Helen is a self-professed bookwork and a keen member of the Mercer & Hole book club.
