Edward works in Mercer & Hole’s Financial Planning team working with clients to ensure their financial affairs are as tax efficient as possible whether they are accumulating wealth or have retired and need to draw on their various assets.
He also works to support partners, directors, and managers to provide their clients with financial planning advice that meet their overall financial objectives. This can involve several advice areas but normally requires specialist pension technical advice, both defined contribution and defined benefit arrangements, estate planning as well as bespoke investment advice so that clients receive a joined-up approach and suitable advice from both tax and financial planning.
Edward particularly enjoys building and establishing relationships with clients and their families and gaining their trust to help provide them with sound financial advice which he finds an extremely rewarding experience. He also takes the time to update and reassure clients on their investments when there are dramatic changes in investment markets.
Edward joined Mercer & Hole in November 2023 having worked in the financial services industry for over ten years and gaining valuable experience in wealth and retirement planning and investment advice.
In his spare time, Edward is a keen football and rugby fan, and he enjoys spending time with his family on weekends.
