How do you get ready to start your day?
I’m currently pregnant, so since finding out, I’ve had to be healthy. My day starts with my oats and a hot cup of honey and lemon to fuel me for the morning!
What is the most satisfying part of what you do?
I end my working day with a ‘to do’ list for the next day. The most satisfying part is ticking off the list and making sure I achieve what I have set out to do for the day.
How have you adapted to working from home?
I’ve historically partly worked from home in my previous job, so it was easy for me to adapt to. The main thing is to have a well-set-up workspace. I’m privileged to have enough space in the house for my husband and I to have our own study. He is a loud talker and is always on the phone!
Why did you decide to choose this career?
It was because of a module I took at university, tax intrigues me and it’s good knowledge to have as everyone pays tax!
Which social media platform do you visit every day?
In a world of being more isolated – it’s got to be Facebook!
What was the work highlight of 2020 for you?
Receiving good feedback from clients which have led to a few recommendations to their colleagues.
