Yasmin Boyall is a Manager in the Private Client and Trusts team, based in the St Albans office. She joined the firm as a graduate after completing a Mathematics degree at the University of Cambridge and has progressed through the department ever since. Alongside qualifying professionally, Yasmin also chose to sit an additional CTA specialist exam in Inheritance Tax, Trusts and Estates, reflecting her enthusiasm for the technical aspects of tax.
Yasmin specialises in advising individuals and trusts with UK/US tax considerations, working closely with partners to help clients navigate the complexities of cross-border taxation. She also has particular expertise in inheritance tax planning and the use of trusts as part of effective wealth preservation strategies.
Her client portfolio includes high-net-worth individuals and trusts, particularly those with US connections. She enjoys tackling complex technical problems and finds great satisfaction in researching challenging situations and providing clear, practical solutions for clients.
For Yasmin, strong client service starts with clear communication. She believes in understanding each client’s level of knowledge, preferred way of working and the amount of detail they want, tailoring her advice accordingly to ensure they feel informed and supported throughout the process.
Although based within the Private Client and Trusts team, Yasmin works closely with colleagues across the firm to deliver joined-up advice. This includes collaborating with partners Lynsey Lord and Helen Price, as well as colleagues in trusts, corporate and business tax, financial planning and virtual finance, reflecting the multidisciplinary nature of many client relationships.
Outside her client work, Yasmin has been an active member of the firm’s Wellbeing Team for several years, helping to organise initiatives such as wellbeing walks and coffee mornings. Away from the office, she enjoys spending time with friends, whether that’s trying a new restaurant or enjoying a crafting session, and is a keen knitter.
