Mercer & Hole is delighted to announce that it has improved its position in the 2018 AccountancyAge Top 50+50 rankings, signalling the firm’s continued growth in the UK accountancy sector.
It has been a progressive year for Mercer & Hole, who broke into the top 40 for the first time in the firm’s history last year. This year the firm are listed at number 34, having climbed a further two places up the table. The firm continues to outperform market growth with fee income up by 11.01%. At the start of September, Andy Turner joined the firm as a partner, taking the number of partners to 21.
Mercer & Hole Senior and Managing Partner, Paul Maberly said “Across Mercer & Hole’s service lines there have been many successes and in particular over the last year, there has been substantial growth in turnover attributed to audit and business advisory, as well as high levels of private client work. We have also been extremely encouraged by what our Outsourcing team have achieved in the first year of launch. However, I also think it is worth reflecting on some of the lesser documented numbers; our corporate restructuring experts saved hundreds of jobs and our corporate finance team advised on a number of deals with values typically up to £25m. The breadth of our services and the level of expertise we have within the firm to advise our clients puts us in an exciting position going forward.”
