Tania Phillips

As an Associate Director in Mercer & Hole’s Corporate Finance Team, Tania works with business owners across a range of industries including software, media, automotive, real estate, leisure, manufacturing, and distribution.

Tania’s particular area of expertise is financial due diligence projects and also company valuations for SMEs and owner managed businesses. She enjoys the fact that every project she works on is different, with clients whose needs, businesses and challenges she must get to grips with, to support them through their transaction so they can achieve their goals. She also relishes the challenges presented by the number of parties involved in transactions as she must negotiate with many different people, to ensure that the deal runs smoothly.

Tania joined Mercer & Hole in October 2023. She initially moved into corporate finance in 2011 after training in audit at Crowe Clark Whitehill having qualified as a chartered accountant in 2010. She then gained valuable experience at RSM in their capital markets team, Shaw Gibbs, where her focus was on financial due diligence projects and company valuations, and at BDO in the transaction services team.

In her spare time, Tania is a mum to three young children and enjoys walking her dog, eating out and travelling with her family.
