Managing working from home as we enter the three-tier alert levels
Sarah has a wealth of experience, spanning almost 30 years, in all areas of business and personal taxation. Managing a mixed portfolio of corporate and business clients across a wide range of sectors, Sarah works closely with clients to guide them through the whole ‘business life cycle’ from start up, to exit or retirement.
Sarah also offers advice on matters such as business structure, profit extraction, HMRC enquiries, capital allowances claims, R&D tax credits, inheritance tax planning and capital gains tax issues. Sarah loves meeting her clients face-to-face, forging long lasting relationships that help her to really understand their individual needs and expectations.
Having joined Mercer & Hole straight from school in 1992 as a Trainee in the Tax department, Sarah qualified as a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation in 1996. As her career at Mercer & Hole has flourished, Sarah enjoys passing on her knowledge and is passionate about helping her colleagues reach their full potential. She is also a Wellbeing Champion at Mercer & Hole, a role she feels is vital in promoting a healthy work/life balance for all.
Away from work, Sarah loves spending time with her husband and two children. The family enjoy good food (preparing it and eating it!), travelling and planning future adventures. Sarah also volunteers for a local Child Contact Centre, something she became involved in through a business associate.
