Ross also has significant experience of working with Private Equity funds and working with them on their growth strategies.

Having experience in media, property development, transport and logistics, and retail, leisure and hospitality sectors, means Ross is well-placed to advise his diverse portfolio – which includes SMEs, privately owned companies, UK subsidiaries of overseas companies, and growing businesses.

However, regardless of industry or structure, his aim is always to help his clients to overcome problems and enable them to get on with running their business successfully. To do this as effectively as possible, Ross makes a point of getting out of the office to spend time with his clients. This allows him to gain in-depth understanding of exactly what they need from him and his team.

Ross gains a great deal of satisfaction from putting together specialist teams to ensure that his clients receive a timely and coordinated first-class service in relation to every aspect of their requirement. Whilst overseeing the overall delivery of the full range of our services, he enjoys imparting his knowledge to more junior members of his team, helping them expand their skillsets and supporting them in their professional development.

Ross also has strong corporate finance experience and handles M&A deals, financial due diligence, and valuations assignments.

With his substantial experience gained in both practice and industry, combined with his technical expertise, Ross’s insightful and commercially-focused business advice is perfect for those with big ambitions for their business.

Ross joined Mercer & Hole in 2015 having originally trained with KPMG. After 12 years at KPMG, Ross spent the next five years as the Group Financial Controller of a market leading FTSE 250 Group, overseeing the internal and external financial reporting processes and the implementation of a global finance system.

Having spent time living and working in France and Denmark, Ross now lives in Hertfordshire with his young family. He has a keen interest in sport, particularly golf, skiing and football and likes to channel this into charitable causes.
