Matt is an Audit Manager based at Mercer & Hole’s London office where he manages a portfolio of companies ranging from small owner managed businesses to large international firms.
Matt works across a wide range of sectors including hospitality, natural resources, retail, consultancy and FCA regulated firms and he has a detailed knowledge of both UK GAAP and IFRS. He enjoys forging strong client relationships and has an appreciation for their concerns and motivations having spent a year working in industry, an experience he has found extremely useful in providing the best possible service for his clients.
Matt joined the firm in December 2020, having previously worked for four years at a small accountancy practice in London’s West End. He gained a degree in Ancient History from Reading University before qualifying to become an accountant.
Outside of work, Matt loves spending his time outdoors where he takes part in a range of sporting activities such as mountaineering, hiking, running and cycling.
