Another area of specialism for Joycelyn is R&D tax credits, where she will identify opportunities to provide clients with assistance and advice on making claims. Specifically, Joycelyn has gained a lot of experience in this area within the pharmaceutical sector.
Joycelyn joined Mercer & Hole from RSM, where she spent the last four years working in corporation tax. Prior to that she worked for Baker Tilly, RSM Tenon, Ventis and Newmerica, through a series of takeovers, mergers and restructurers. Further to starting her career as a book keeper, Joycelyn trained as an accountant and moved into tax, qualifying as a Chartered Tax Advisor whilst working as an auditor.
Outside of work, Joycelyn loves sport. This includes standing on the sidelines and supporting her son’s love of football, watching tennis, and enjoying trips to the Oval and Lords to watch cricket. Joycelyn also likes musical theatre and going to concerts.
