Based in Milton Keynes, Jamie works closely with business owners to help them to flourish and achieve their strategic aims. He has a particular focus on working with those within the tech sector and finds it exciting to be involved in the rate of change that is happening locally with Milton Keynes being an area of high growth for tech industries.
Jamie oversees audits and non-audit related accountancy services, managing relationships with his clients who are primarily owner-managed businesses, whilst leading the team. His experience extends to many sectors including: healthcare, logistics, service industries, professional practices, building and construction, IT, property development and investment, education and recruitment.
Jamie is passionate about applying new technologies to our own business to further improve the service we offer our clients. To this end, he oversees the firm’s system of audit quality management and also chairs the firm’s Audit Technical Committee.
His commitment to service excellence extends to the wider remit as he also specialises in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) which underpin high-quality and understandable accounting and sustainability disclosure standards for the public. Recently, he has worked with clients on the transition to IFRS ahead of a public listing or for conversion of newly acquired subsidiaries of groups already reporting under IFRS.
Having qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2006 with a London-based firm, Jamie joined Mercer & Hole as a Senior Audit Manager in 2012. He was promoted to Director in 2016 and to Partner in October 2022.
Outside of work, Jamie enjoys spending his free time with his family and friends. He is a keen cook, avid reader and cyclist and he regularly takes part in racing time trials.
