Helen Cain

Helen is an Audit and Business Advisory Partner based in the London office and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (ICAEW). With a varied portfolio encompassing corporates and partnerships, her experience extends across many sectors including property investment and development, FCA registered entities and also media and professional services.

Being an Audit and Business Advisory Partner involves Helen assisting and guiding clients in all accounts, tax and audit compliance matters throughout their life cycle. In addition, she helps clients analyse and establish their short and long term strategies from a financial and business perspective.

Some strategies may lead to transactions such as an acquisition or sale. On transactional work, Helen has experience of working closely with her clients and their other professional advisers; reviewing the terms from both commercial and tax perspectives.

Further examples of Helen’s ongoing advice include research and development tax credits, reviewing the group structure on establishing an overseas entity and providing assistance on inward investment strategies. Whilst her non-statutory audit work includes pension schemes and solicitor regulatory authority reporting.

Away from work, Helen is keen on most sports and particularly enjoys swimming and watching Chelsea football club.
