Emma’s day to day responsibilities include, but are not limited to, accounts preparation and audits for small to medium sized companies, review of corporation tax returns, reporting to overseas parent companies of UK subsidiaries, VAT returns, management accounts and managing audits. Emma also supports companies who are trying to streamline their accounts processes to ease their administrative burden, enabling them to focus on their business goals. Emma works with a variety of clients, with particular experience in the construction sector and with estate agents.
Emma enjoys the diverse aspect of her role which is gained through the variety of clients she is exposed to. She also takes satisfaction from helping clients and builds a good working relationship so they know she is there, as a port of call.
Emma joined Mercer & Hole in 2013 as a school leaver and qualified with the firm.
Outside of work, Emma has recently taken up golf and enjoys the outdoors. Emma enjoys travelling and often uses the long weekends for city breaks.
