Duncan Smith is an Audit Manager based at Mercer & Hole’s London office. He works with a range of corporate clients from across a wide spectrum of sectors including retail, property, hospitality, recruitment, manufacturing, and the automotive and financial industries.
No two days are the same for Duncan as his clients’ businesses range in size from small, single entities right through to large groups with an international presence. Specialising in the technicalities of reporting under UK GAAP and IFRS, Duncan enjoys getting to know his clients and their varied businesses in order to provide an accurate and thorough service. He also specialises in working on the complexities of pension schemes.
Duncan joined Mercer & Hole’s graduate trainee programme in September 2017 after completing a degree in economics. He thrived on the programme working and training and quickly gained his professional qualifications. He has since progressed through the ranks to become an Audit Manager in February 2025.
Outside of work, Duncan likes to keep active and enjoys playing rugby, weightlifting and snowboarding.
