Based at Mercer & Hole’s St Albans office, Diane works with a diverse portfolio of clients including start-ups, SMEs and larger groups. Diane also supports the UK subsidiaries of a number of international groups, helping them with audit and UK compliance requirements.
Diane provides audit and advisory solutions across a wide range of industry sectors. She has a wealth of experience in working with creative industries, charities, professional services business (including Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) regulated businesses, architects and consultancies) and with clients in the construction and retail industries. Diane enjoys the opportunity to work with this large variety of businesses, and the fact that she can provide support to them throughout the different stages of their lifecycle (early stage start-ups through to mature, larger groups). The key to Diane’s success is in building strong and lasting relationships with her client’s teams, in order to get to know them individually and understand their business. This allows Diane to provide swift, relevant solutions to the many and varied challenges they might face day-to-day.
Diane qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2002 having gained a degree in Mathematics from Leeds University. She rejoined Mercer & Hole as an Associate Director in May 2023 after taking a year off to travel across Europe, Asia and Central America, in addition to moving to the Cotswolds. She previously held the post of Senior Audit Manager for three years in our London office, having gained broad audit and advisory experience before that working with the London offices of Arram Berlyn Gardner LLP, Blinkhorns and Menzies LLP.
Outside of work, Diane enjoys countryside walks, socialising and spending time with friends and family. She is also a frustrated Everton FC supporter!
