Darrell is a Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) and Certified Accountant (FCCA) with considerable experience of advising owner-managers on both tax compliance and advisory matters. Working with clients across a wide range of sectors, Darrell provides them with advice and support in specialist areas such as capital allowances and planning for transactions.
Building strong client relationships is key for Darrell, who enjoys developing his understanding of his clients’ business, aims and ambitions. Combining technical knowledge with experience, he is able to advise on the overall impact of taxation and consider areas where there may be a more effective solution.
Darrell joined Mercer & Hole’s Corporate & Business Tax team in 2017 and he had previously spent 20 years working for Grant Thornton.
Outside of work, Darrell enjoys spending time with his family, reading when he can and playing the odd round of golf.
