Andrew Dean

Andrew Dean is an Audit and Business Advisory Partner based in Mercer & Hole’s London office. Andrew leads a diverse portfolio of audit and advisory clients. Working closely with startups, high-growth owner-managed businesses, and UK parents and subsidiaries of large international groups, Andrew’s clients are primarily businesses in the retail, hospitality, and real estate sectors. He also sits on the firm’s audit quality and technical committee.

Andrew has detailed knowledge of reporting under UK GAAP and IFRS and extensive experience in group reporting for large corporates. He is passionate about helping ambitious, entrepreneurial people and businesses achieve their goals, and prides himself on building strong and sustainable relationships with his clients.

Andrew brings a wealth of practical knowledge from his years as a Responsible Individual, and he is a strong believer that audit is an opportunity to add real value and is not just a checklist or overhead. Andrew takes great enjoyment from getting to know his clients, their businesses and their aspirations, and his favourite part of the role is helping his clients with meaningful insights, guidance and practical advice that support these goals.

Outside of work, Andrew enjoys spending time in the outdoors and travelling to new and exciting places with his wife and two young daughters. He also loves watching and playing football and hacking his way around a golf course.
