Wimbledon comes to Mercer & Hole in Milton Keynes
Mercer & Hole Chartered Accountants invited guests to a Wimbledon event at their Milton Keynes office on Friday, 14th July.
Friends of the firm gathered to watch the Wimbledon Men’s Semi Finals and were hosted by partners, Andrew Lawes, Mike Joy, Cathy Corns, Steve Robinson, Peter Godfrey-Evans, Phil Fenn, as well as Tax Director, Jacqui Gudgion, Audit Director, Jamie Wooldridge and Corporate Finance Director, Mike Orton.
Guests enjoyed a buffet, as well as the traditional strawberries and cream, scones and Pimms. A life-sized cardboard cut-out of Andy Murray, bunting and a variety of props all added to the fun and the Wimbledon theme.
The Grand Slam semi-finals matches featured Querrey v Cilic and Federer v Berdych, with Federer and Cilic winning and going on to meet each other in the final.
Speaking of the event, Partner, Andrew Lawes said: “This is the second year, we’ve brought The All England Club to Milton Keynes. Again, it has been a lot of fun and we have appreciated the opportunity to network, whilst watching some great tennis.”
