Willen Hospice and Florence the cow visit Mercer & Hole in Milton Keynes
The Mercer & Hole team in Milton Keynes welcomed visitors from Willen Hospice, who came in to discuss the firm’s involvement in their fundraising event, the MK Midnight Moo Walk.
Private Client Partner and ‘Mercer & Hole Moovers’ team leader, Lisa Spearman will be accompanied by Sam Devonald, Dasdeep Sidhu, Sam Griffiths, Kirsty Berryman, Laura Kirtland, Megan Day and Gail Wickersham on the Midnight Moo, which is a 10 mile walk around Milton Keynes at night, taking place on 15 July 2017.
The Willen Hospice visitors accompanied by their mascot, Florence the cow, interviewed Lisa who spoke to them about the team’s reasons for taking part.
Lisa said “We have supported Willen Hospice for many years and were keen to do the walk this year, in support of both the charity and Milton Keynes turning 50. I share my own 50th Birthday with MK, so this furthers our reasons to celebrate! Willen Hospice do a fantastic job, providing free services to those they care for but they need to raise £7 every minute from the local community in order to do so. We are proud to be playing our part and to be able to contribute to this great cause.”
Mercer & Hole’s Midnight Moo team are preparing for the walk at lunchtimes and after work. On the night, they will be embracing the gold theme by dressing up and wearing lots of bling.
