Rachel Gooda passes STEP Certificate for Financial Services (Trusts and Estate Planning)
We are pleased to announce that Rachel Gooda - Senior Financial Adviser for M&H Financial Planning is now an affiliate of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP), having successfully passed the STEP Certificate for Financial Services (Trusts and Estate Planning).
This is a relatively new qualification from the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, in collaboration with Central Law Training. The STEP Certificate for Financial Services (Trusts and Estate Planning) was designed for financial planners who work closely with legal professionals in light of the Legal Services Act 2007, the Retail Distribution Review (RDR) and Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) in financial services.
Rachel comments “Having a well structured estate is a high priority for our clients and the STEP course has been invaluable for enhancing my knowledge on the tax and legal aspects of estate planning. It has enabled me to work effectively with both law professionals and our own in house tax and trustee department in order to deliver complete solutions to our clients in this important area of planning.”
