Partners attend INSOL Europe Annual Congress 2019

Corporate Advisory Partners, Chris Laughton and Henry Page attended the INSOL Europe Annual Congress 2019, which was held in Copenhagen, from 26 to 29 September.

The theme of the congress was “(Un)necessary preventative restructuring frameworks: Where are the limits?” referencing proposals being implemented by the EU to avoid insolvency. Chris Laughton, a past president and honorary member of INSOL Europe, took a key role as the event’s facilitator, speaking in the opening and closing remarks and introducing speakers and subjects throughout. A wide and diverse programme of topics relating to the congress’ theme were covered, inspiring enthusiastic discussions and debates.

Aside from the technical agenda, there was also time allocated for networking, a 5km run in the city and a gala dinner to conclude events. Delegates were also able to visit some of Copenhagen’s landmark attractions, including the Little Mermaid, the Gefion Fountain and the Amalienborg Palace.
