Mercer & Hole’s Jacqui Gudgion’s progress in Celebrity JustDance - Not much longer to Waite now…..
Mercer & Hole Tax Director, Jacqui Gudgion will be taking part in Celebrity Just Dance 2017 on 18 November at Arena MK. The event which is to be held in the style of Strictly Come Dancing is being held in support of MK Dons Sport and Education Trust.
Jacqui is charting her progress in her blog ‘Finding dance a little taxing!’ Read on to see how she has got on this week:
Last week my dance practice was focused around thinking about presentation. Not the sort I usually do where I stand up and talk to people about tax but how I look when I dance. I was lucky enough to have been invited to watch the International Dance Championships at the Albert Hall last week and watching how poised and elegant the ladies were made me wonder just what a clod hopper I must look! So during practice this week I have been focusing on my hands (no spatula hands as Craig Revel Horwood would call them!) and how I hold my head and frame. Lots to think about.
On Friday night many of us who are competing in the dance competition were out at the Women Leaders Awards in Milton Keynes and the competition was heavily promoted to make sure there will be a great audience watching the event.
And then last Saturday came the big announcement – our head judge for the event will be none other than Ian Waite of Strictly fame! How exciting. How scary. How did I get myself in to this?!? We are all in the local Citizen newspaper as well with a group selfie from one of our training sessions. I am hoping that the fame of Ian Waite and Richard Arnold will help the event to raise money for MK Dons SET.
