Mercer & Hole ‘Wrap up London’
Mercer & Hole’s London team took part in Wrap up London on Wednesday 14 November, collecting unwanted coats for vulnerable people and helping them to keep warm this winter.
Now in its eighth year, Wrap up London is an annual coat collection campaign, where coats are collected and redistributed to over 100 homeless shelters, refugee charities, asylum seekers, women’s refuges and other charities across the capital.
Colleagues across the firm were encouraged to handover winter coats that are surplus to requirements and bring them into the office on 14 November. The team generously donated over 40 coats in all shapes and sizes which will be put to good use.
In addition a team from Mercer & Hole donated their time to volunteer for a two hour slot, where they were involved in collecting coat donations, during which they picked up 160 sacks full of coats.
Jo Stuart, Charity Champion at Mercer & Hole said “It was a very rewarding experience taking part in Wrap up London and it was great to see such generosity within the firm”
