Mercer & Hole volunteer at MK Play Day
Mercer & Hole partner, Andrew Lawes showed it’s not all work as he joined in with the large number of families and their children as they came to play at MK Play Day, in Milton Keynes’ Campbell Park on 6 August 2014.
Andrew volunteered at the event, along with colleague Debbie Bigg, as part of the firm’s Acts of Kindness’ campaign, which is a commitment of 25 gestures of goodwill to celebrate the Chartered Accountants’ 25 years in Milton Keynes.
There was a host of games and activities for children of all ages to enjoy and many families and groups of friends used the opportunity to picnic in the central Milton Keynes park.
Andrew Lawes said "It was a fantastic day and Debbie and I helped to sell raffle tickets around the park to raise money for the event. The weather was kind and we were delighted that Mercer & Hole could play a small part in contributing to a such great event that was enjoyed by so many families and friends in Milton Keynes."
For now it’s back to work at Mercer & Hole but with another ‘Act of Kindness’ just around the corner, there will be more news to post soon…
