Mercer & Hole team run a total of 110km at St Albans Colour Blast
A team from Mercer & Hole collectively ran 110km at the St Albans Colour Blast in support of Rennie Grove Hospice and to celebrate the accountancy firm’s 110th year of business.
Each of the 22 volunteers ran the 5km route through Verulamium Park and were doused with different coloured powder paints at various stations throughout the course. The event was the first of its kind to take place in St Albans and provided a colourful spectacle for the many onlookers.
Mercer & Hole has a close association with Rennie Grove being a Corporate Patron Sponsor of the charity. Senior Partner, Paul Maberly was there to lend his support to the event and to fellow partners, Helen Price and Ross Lane, who ran in the event along with their many colleagues.
Speaking after taking part, Helen Price said “We have been delighted to support our friends at Rennie Grove by taking part in the Colour Blast. It was a great team effort and everyone really enjoyed the run.”
Ross Lane added “During the course of this year we have been involved in many events supporting the local community as part of our 110 year celebrations. Today felt very special as so many people from Mercer & Hole chose to use their spare time to run 110km in support of a great cause”.
