Mercer & Hole team don their gardening gloves to help MK Snap
A team from Mercer & Hole Chartered Accountants’ Milton Keynes office stepped in to help the charity, MK Snap, with some gardening on 2 May.
Private Client Partner, Lisa Spearman and General Practice Partner, Steve Robinson were joined by Nathan Poole. Together they helped prepare the gardening areas, raised beds, green houses, wildlife area and decking. The volunteering efforts are in preparation for an event the charity is holding on 10 May, which celebrates all the work which has been done in the Robeson garden.
Lisa Spearman, Private Client Partner who is also a trustee of MK Snap said “It was surprisingly hot work but it makes a great change to be outside and doing something we know is useful. MK SNAP is very close to my heart and I am delighted that Mercer & Hole can support it in a practical way”.
General Practice Partner, Steve Robinson said “We were lucky with the weather but even luckier to meet the staff and young adults who enjoy the fantastic facility run by MK Snap.”
This year MK Snap are celebrating 25 years of helping young adults with disabilities in Milton Keynes to learn social and work skills, helping them achieve a more independent life and to enable them contribute to society.
