Mercer & Hole sponsor a Dogs for the Disabled puppy
Dogs for the Disabled is the latest beneficiary of Mercer & Hole’s 25 Acts of Kindness campaign, which is celebrating the Chartered Accountancy firm’s 25 years of business in Milton Keynes.
On 21st July 2014, Mercer & Hole Partner, Cathy Corns visited The Frances Hay Centre in Oxfordshire to hand over a cheque to sponsor a puppy and to meet the staff, as well as some four-legged friends.
The charity aims to change the lives of those living with a disability by offering them a unique partnership with a highly-trained, assistance dog. The puppies are trained to provide practical assistance and can offer freedom, confidence and independence to children and adults with physical disabilities, as well as children with autism.
On meeting the staff and some of the stars of the show, Cathy said: “These dogs are amazing – adorable, intelligent and well-trained – absolutely the complete package. The charity does such a brilliant job, I’m just so thrilled to be able to help.”
Keep logging on to find out who will be next in line for an act of kindness!
