Mercer & Hole hold a Bake Sale to support the A-T Society
Chartered Accountants, Mercer & Hole held a bake sale and dress down day at their St Albans office last Friday, 4 November, to raise funds for the A-T Society.
The A-T Society is a charity which supports those affected by Ataxia Telagiectasia (A-T) and the people who care for them. A-T is a rare and complex genetic disorder, which affects a number of different systems in the body. The charity is local to the Harpenden area and supports families from all over the UK.
Mercer & Hole’s St Albans’ team baked or brought in shop bought cakes for the sale and everyone was also given the opportunity to dress down for the day for a donation to the charity.
William Davis, Chief Executive of the A-T Society said “The A-T Society is absolutely delighted to have the support of Mercer & Hole. Families facing the devastating diagnosis of ataxia-telangiectasia often feel that no one knows about the condition and the problems they face. The support of a major local company like Mercer & Hole will raise the profile of the condition and help the A-T Society to keep providing its invaluable support.”
