Mercer & Hole flip in the St Albans Pancake Race
A team from Mercer & Hole Chartered Accountants competed in the St Albans Pancake running race today alongside many other local businesses and organisations.
Charmain Alway, Robin Edwards, Rochelle Henney and Jane Pate formed Mercer & Hole’s team and took part in the running relay race. The team flipped their pancakes through the courses’ three flipping stations and then sprinted for home, transferring their frying pan to their next in line teammate.
Although the team didn’t make it beyond the heats, they all enjoyed participating. Cotlandswick Leisure Centre went on to win the event.
The event was opened by Deputy Mayor of St Albans, Counsellor Gill Clark and was well supported by the local community. Amongst the spectators were Senior Partner, Paul Maberly and Managing Partner, Paul Webster, who both came along to cheer on the Mercer & Hole team.
