Mercer & Hole Chartered Accountants fundraise as part of Dragons’ Apprentice Challenge 2015
Ross Lane, Partner at Mercer & Hole is the mentor for a group of students from St Albans Girls School in the Dragons' Apprentice Challenge 2015.
The students will be fundraising on behalf of Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB). Ross’ role will be to provide advice and access to resources to help his team, achieve their business objectives and reach their financial target by the 31 January deadline.
This weekend, the team took part in fundraising activity at St Albans’ popular Christmas market where they had a stall and sold toy puppets supplied by The Puppet Company (http://www.thepuppetcompany.com/). There was a variety of all shapes and sizes including finger puppets and glove puppets. Ross took his dragon title to a very hands-on role where he dressed up as Sooty, the mascot of RNIB, to help raise additional funds towards the charity!
The team will also be taking part in various fundraising activities throughout the course of this year. Results of their hard work, creativity, organisational, communication and wider business skills will be revealed on 31 January.
