Mercer & Hole Chartered Accountants, celebrate 25 Years in Milton Keynes
Mercer & Hole are delighted to be celebrating 25 years of business in Milton Keynes. It’s been a huge period of growth for the firm, starting with 2 partners and 4 staff and now a thriving business, with cross discipline expertise in General Practice, Corporate Tax, Private Client, Business Restructuring and Corporate Finance.
With graduates joining every year and a team of over 45, Mercer & Hole is a prominent business in Milton Keynes with clients throughout Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire and Northamptonshire.
Since 1989, Mercer & Hole have enjoyed being part of the business and wider community in Buckinghamshire and their 25 year celebration emphasises the firm’s commitment to the community. Working with the MK Community Foundation, the team at Mercer & Hole are completing ‘25 Acts of Kindness’ to extend the cheer of their 25 year celebrations. From helping out at a children’s play day to serving the elderly lunch, the Mercer & Hole team have been asked to volunteer and to contribute their own ‘Acts of Kindness’ ideas. As a result, there have been a diversity of goodwill gestures proposed for the campaign including, washing a colleagues’ car, donating to the local Food Bank and baking cakes for colleagues.
Paul Maberly, Senior Partner, said “The acts of kindness is a really positive way to involve the team and the community in celebrating our anniversary. Milton Keynes has come a very long way over the last 25 years and we are proud to say that Mercer & Hole has been there on every step of the journey.”
Danielle Porteous, Development Director at MK Community Foundation, said “It has been great to work with Mercer & Hole on such a unique project within the community. Businesses have an important role to play in building a successful and thriving community in Milton Keynes and we feel Mercer & Hole have been able to show this through their 25 Acts of Kindness campaign. Mercer & Hole also have a celebration party to say thank you to their clients and the local business community who have supported the firm through their 25 years in Milton Keynes. The event will be held at The Sculpture Gallery at Woburn Abbey on 4th September.
Reflecting on his 25 year’s at Mercer & Hole’s Milton Keynes office, Mike Joy, a Partner at the firm said “Milton Keynes has been a great place to do business in, and it is, and has been a huge part of my business and personal life. The growth of the Mercer & Hole office over the past 25 years has reflected the overall expansion in Milton Keynes. It is a vibrant business community which we totally support and we feel very fortunate to be here.”
