Helen Price appointed Chair of STEP Beds, Bucks and Herts branch

Mercer & Hole Private Client Partner, Helen Price has been elected as Chair of the Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Hertfordshire (BBH) branch of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).

Helen has been an active member of STEP since 2011. A year later, she was recognised as a winner in the STEP Excellence Awards being named as the Accountants & Tax Practitioners Diploma Student of the Year. Helen has been a committee member of the BBH branch ever since and was elected to Chair at the Annual General Meeting earlier this year.

Helen said “I am proud to have the opportunity to lead the BBH branch and excited about opening up new opportunities for our membership. The three counties of Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Hertfordshire cover an expansive area and I am keen to promote inclusion across the region. Accessibility is a key factor and this is being addressed with plans to host a branch event in Milton Keynes early next year, in addition to our regular meetings in St Albans. I look forward to a progressive term as Chair and to serving the needs of our members in every corner of our region.”

In her role as a partner at Mercer & Hole, Helen provides private client tax advice to high net worth individuals and their families, trusts, estates and charities. Advising on the taxation, administration and accounting of trusts and estates is an area Helen particularly enjoys and she acts as a professional trustee or executor, including for charitable trusts.
