Mercer & Hole are celebrating National Apprenticeship Week of 7th – 13th February. The week brings together businesses and apprentices across the country to shine a light on the positive impact that apprenticeships make to individuals, businesses and the wider economy.

Paul Maberly, Managing Partner said “We have 17 apprentices at Mercer & Hole, all of which are either in tax, audit or outsourcing. Our apprentices experience a wide and unique insight into a variety of businesses whilst working in a friendly and supportive environment. We want everyone in our team to thrive in the strengths they have, and ambitions they hold. We currently have six vacancies for ambitious school leavers wanting to embark on a grounded business experience from which to springboard their career.”

Whilst absorbing that in a permanent role, you also keep studying for a professional qualification to secure your future career as part of our two-year programme. After two years in those positions our apprentices can progress onto further qualifications, for example, an apprentice can go on to ACA or ACCA to become Chartered or Certified Accountant.

There are no limits for our apprentices; you can exceed graduate progress as our track record shows. We give you the right experience, personal development and training to signpost your career to where you want to go—you own it.

Mercer & Hole has recently achieved the highly acclaimed ACCA Platinum Employer Status for training, which recognises its high standards and commitment to staff training and professional development across the firm. The ACCA is the global body for professional accountants and the Platinum Employer Status for training has been achieved during 2021 (including the lockdown periods), where our commitment to providing and supporting training across the firm continued without pause.

We are recruiting for a number of apprenticeship roles, to find out more, please click here.
