The Mercer & Hole Bank Holiday

We are pleased to announce that Friday 27 August will be a day off for all the Mercer & Hole team members.

We want to show our appreciation for all our employees who have worked so hard over the last 18 months. In March 2020, when the country went into lockdown, our team quickly adapted to working from home at short notice. It wasn’t always easy, but they all made it work seamlessly and continued to put our clients first so that they received the same service, help and advice as always.

On Friday 27 August, all our offices will be closed, and with the national Bank Holiday on Monday 30 August, it will make a four-day weekend.

So, with an extra day of leisure, what will our staff get up to? In the run up to the Mercer & Hole Bank Holiday, we have been thinking of all the things that can be done in 24 hours. According to the Guinness Book of Records, much can be accomplished in 24 hours! People have accomplished such feats as making 7,539 pizzas, playing 1,440 holes of crazy golf and someone has actually parachuted out of a plane 640 times!

We hope, however the Mercer & Hole team spend their long weekend, whether it be skydiving or simply pottering about in the garden, that they enjoy it and the weather holds up for it!
