Picture Perfect!

Keen photographer, Caroline Mockett from our Virtual Finance team has entered six of her photos into the London Camera Exchange 2024 Photographer of the Year competition.

Caroline has an incredible talent for photography which she demonstrated throughout lockdown where she shared the amazing photographs with the rest of us at Mercer & Hole. There have been several studies demonstrating how lockdown actually provided the opportunity for people to engage far more in hobbies and creative pursuits and the benefits on overall mental health and this was certainly the case with Caroline’s photos as we all enjoyed them.

Out of the six photos she has entered into the competition, she has selected her personal favourite for people to vote on in the People’s Choice award category. It’s an astonishing image of a Waxwing perched on a berry-laden tree captured just as it about to swallow a berry mid-air; the moment before its satisfaction frozen in time.
