Mercer & Hole win award for Business Recognition in Watford!

We are delighted to announce that Mercer & Hole won an award for Business Recognition in Watford last night at Watford FC’s Community Sports and Education Trust Gala Dinner. The evening was held to celebrate the football club’s 30 years of work in the community. 

Audit and Business Advisory Partner, Jo Upshall said: “I’m extremely proud of the firm and the work we have done in conjunction with Watford FC and local businesses in the area. Being part of the community is extremely important to us as must work together to thrive and support each other.”

Over the last few years, the firm has launched the Watford Business Festival, welcomed Watford FC players opening our new Rickmansworth office and run a Watford apprentice campaign with locally based business, such as, Camelot and Wenzel’s. In September 2022, we went on the Taylor Trek, a sponsored walk with trails following landmarks associated with Watford FC’s most famous manager, Graham Taylor.

Mercer & Hole are proud to continue our work within the Watford area. As with everything we do, it is our staff, their friends and families who have supported our initiatives in the community, either raising money on the Taylor Trek or taking part in pancakes races or even running the steps of Watford FC stadium. If you would like to be involved, the next Taylor Trek is to be held on Sunday 15 October 2023.
