Mercer & Hole celebrated thirty years of being part of the Milton Keynes business and wider community with cake and good deeds.

Since 1989, the firm has played an intrinsic part in the development of Milton Keynes, contributing accountancy, tax and financial planning advice to a considerable number of local businesses and individuals. During this time, the Mercer & Hole team have enjoyed building close business relationships with many of the other professional service firms in the town, as well as with local charities and good causes.

With the eating of cake synonymous with a celebration, Managing Partner, Paul Maberly and Private Client Partner, Lisa Spearman took to delivering cupcakes to friends of the firm.

Additionally, Mercer & Hole’s Milton Keynes’ team have marked the occasion by choosing to support three local charities. Firstly, they have collected 30 items for the charity Emily’s Star, which supports the families of children with life limiting illnesses and provides neonatal boxes for both mums and premature or underweight babies. Secondly, the challenge was set to donate enough food items to the MK Food Bank to feed 30 families for 3 days. Finally, the team gave their time to serve lunch to the elderly at the MK Irish Welfare Support Group.

Paul Maberly said “Celebrating 30 years of business in Milton Keynes is something the team and I are very proud of, having watched Milton Keynes grow and develop into a vibrant place to work which has a huge amount of business potential. I feel very fortunate to be a part of a fantastic business community and look forward to seeing how it will change over the next 30 years and beyond.”
