We are proud to announce two of the firm’s Private Client Partners are featured in the new Spear’s Tax & Trust Index, as recommended Accountants and Tax Advisors.
The Spear’s Tax & Trust Index was published online on Wednesday 5 October and the 2023 print edition will be released January 2023 and Liz Cuthbertson and Lisa Spearman feature within the new index.
The Spear’s 500 Index showcases the top providers of a wide range of services to (U)HNWs. The list features Accountants & Tax Advisers, Contentious Trust Lawyers, Probate Lawyers, Tax & Trust Barristers, Tax & Trust Lawyers, and US East Coast Tax & Trust Lawyers. The ranking is drawn up based on a proprietary methodology that combines nominations, peer review, telephone/face-to-face interviews and data analysis.

Liz Cuthbertson, Private Client Partner, has worked at Mercer & Hole since 2006 becoming Partner at the firm in 2009. Liz is a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Tax Advisor who provides advice on tax planning, residence, offshore trusts, inheritance tax and is also involved in cross border advice and works with our international network, TIAG.
Lisa Spearman, Private Client Partner, has over 30 years’ experience of advising high net worth individuals on a broad range of tax and trust issues, becoming a Partner in the firm in 2003. Her overriding aim is to demystify tax and to provide clear advice for her clients on how to organise their tax and financial affairs. Lisa fully understands the needs of clients and leads our specialised team focused on UK non-doms.
