Henry Page speaks on crypto currency at R3’s Crypto-asset Recovery event

Corporate Advisory Partner, Henry Page, spoke at R3’s Crypto-asset Recovery event hosted by South Square on Thursday 30 January.

Henry gave an insight into Crypto currencies explaining what the assets are, how a crypto currency works and the practicalities and challenges likely to arise in an insolvency process.

Lee Benmore, a Senior Administrator in Mercer & Hole’s Corporate Restructuring team and R3 New Professional Committee member, organised the event commenting: “The new professional committee discussed at length the importance of hosting an event which would give new professionals insight and knowledge into topics that they would not necessarily deal with on a day to day basis. We concluded that a crypto-asset event would be an ideal highly topical subject both in light of the recent UK Jurisdiction Taskforce paper, emerging case law, and growth of the asset class.
