We are absolutely delighted to announce that we are again sponsoring Taylor Trek for the third year running.

Come and join us on Sunday 13th October for a fun and inspirational walk taking in the sites in and around Watford that meant something special to Graham Taylor and his Hornet’s legacy whilst raising funds for two charities close to his heart.

We will be raising essential funds for Watford Football Club’s Community Sports & Education Trust which has the goal of creating healthier, happier and stronger communities through projects that deliver positive outcomes and facilities that help reach local people. In addition, this year is particularly special as the funds will be split equally with the Rennie Grove Peace Hospice Care.

“I am so happy that we are involved again with this fantastic event as it means so much to us to support two important charities in our community and it is great to see how this event has grown even more popular since the first one in 2022. We are really looking forward to taking part on the day with our friends and families.” Jo Upshall, Audit & Business Advisory Partner, Mercer & Hole.

Since its inception in 2022, the Taylor Trek has been extremely popular with families and keen trekkers alike. As with previous years, there will be three different routes to suit different abilities. The family route is a gentle three and a half miles so suitable for younger children. The medium route, at eight and a half miles, is a bit more challenging if you want to get some exercise whilst taking in some history and then the challenge route is just over 18 miles for keen walkers wanting to push themselves whilst passing all the key sites of Graham’s Hornets history. All routes finish up in the glorious Watford stadium where walkers will receive a medal and some much-needed refreshments.

If you would like to get involved you can register here as an individual or a team and you can also join an existing team.
