Tomorrow is International Women’s Day 2025! But what does that really mean?
Globally, International Women’s Day is a call for action to work towards equal rights, power, and opportunities for all women and girls everywhere.
For Mercer & Hole, it is also a chance to take a step back, celebrate how far we’ve we come, and acknowledge how far we have still to go.
We are proud that our partnership is made up of 44% women, compared with the average of 24% across the top 100 UK accountancy firms. We will continue to work towards equal opportunities to thrive.
#AccelerateAction
As a firm, we are proud of our progress and are dedicated to doing more to #AccelerateAction. We know that the goal of gender equality requires consistent action and renewed commitment.
As individuals, we are also dedicated to this mission – and we are proud to see leaders like Jo Bateson, one of our Private Client partners, taking tangible action.
Jo is offering five one-hour tax workshops to support female founders in accelerating their wealth creation journey.
Learn more about her initiative here and don’t hesitate to get in touch with Jo to find out how you can accelerate your wealth creation journey.
Jo is passionate about supporting female founders to ensure that they have the right advisors as they create, build, and grow their businesses:
“Personal taxes are often last on the agenda because women don’t believe their success until they can touch it. So, investing in personal tax advice in those early stages just is not high on the agenda – but it can make all the difference.
The amount of founders who have said that they wish they had known the what BADR (Business Asset Disposal Relief!) is, or knew about putting shares into trust for their kids, or understood how to create a family succession plan.
I am therefore offering five free one-hour tax workshops with female founders to help accelerate their wealth creation journey.
So, if you are a female founder and you think that I could help, please do get in touch.”
