Autumn brings two director promotions in our Private Client Team

October 2020 is a time for celebration at Mercer & Hole as Lynsey Lord and Alice Pearson have been promoted to Director level in the Private Client Team.

Gill Tallon, the firm’s Deputy Managing Partner, who works closely with both Lynsey and Alice said: “I am extremely proud to announce the promotion of both Lynsey and Alice to Director level. Both represent the key qualities of our firm and demonstrate our client-centred approach in every aspect of their work. Lynsey and Alice have a strong track record in private client work.  Lynsey joined Mercer & Hole back in 2008 and qualified as a Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) in 2012. She advises on all aspects of personal taxation, including matters relating to income tax, capital gains tax and inheritance tax. In 2015 she gained international experience at a firm in New York, which was facilitated through Mercer & Hole’s international network. This now means that Lynsey acts for a number of US citizens and Green Card holders living in the UK.

Alice qualified as an ACA and a CTA. Prior to joining Mercer & Hole in 2015, Alice was awarded for the highest mark in the CTA’s Taxation of Individuals’ paper. Alice provides tax advisory and compliance services to UK and non-UK domiciled clients, which include entrepreneurs, wealthy individuals and families, partnerships, and trusts.
