Charity Commission releases new audio podcasts
The Commission has issued three new audio podcasts, which provide guidance for trustees seeking to further their understanding of their duties as defined under charity law.
Two topics receive particular focus: how to protect charities from extremist abuse, and key questions that a board of trustees should ask themselves, especially in times of economic difficulty.
These podcasts are intended to provide a clear introduction to the principles and recommendations regarding compliance with charity legislation, and are considered by the Commission’s Chief Executive to be an accessible format for communicating such advice to current and prospective trustees.
